Since Mid-August, I have been studying German and Piano in Vienna, Austria through the end of the year. Although I tend not to be immediate with updates, by the end of the year I hope to have up stores from all of my travels through Austria, Denmark, France, Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic, and Italy.
For your viewing pleasure, here is a picture of the Vienna State Opera, one of the most important opera houses in the world! Our school is located just a few blocks from it in the Center of the City!!!
And here is a picture of about a third of the students in the IES program here in Vienna (I’m in there too) in front of the Belvedere. I got a few laughs out of the others taking this picture because I used my joby gorillapod on a gate to take the picture and have everyone in it.
If you are wondering, the picture at the top of my website is of the small town of Mariazell, Austria. I took this panoramic photo while standing on the balcony-restaurant that some friends and I had dessert at (the most delicious dessert I have had here in Europe I might add…). Enjoy!
